This piece is truly versatile. It can be worn street-style like a traditional bomber, or dressed up with a shirt or trousers. (The main attraction is the DVN cuff and hem ribbing, which is a comfortable, elegant color combination.)

The outer fabric is made of high-weight, fully processed nylon twill. The bulky fabric is already thick, combined with a custom-dyed, high-density twill silk lining and a quilted lining. This makes it a perfect padded jacket, perfect for layering under a sweatshirt in southern winter. The ribbing is custom-dyed in the original beige color. We’ve used thicker yarn for a premium look, rather than using off-the-shelf stock. The ribbing density and stretch are identical to the original.

As for the hardware, the collar chain is custom-made, which takes a long time and is expensive. The two riri M zippers are also custom-made, not to save money, but rather to avoid using low-quality off-the-shelf stock. The zipper alone costs a lot for this piece, but the quality is palpable right from the start.
