adidas Originals and Los Angeles-based brand Brain Dead have teamed up again for their Spring/Summer collection.
This season’s collection, inspired by tennis, offers a fresh take on the classic adidas Forest Hills shoe.
Following last year’s Stan Smith collaboration, Brain Dead once again delivers a groundbreaking creative expression, infusing classic adidas styles with bold design and the brand’s signature aesthetic.
The g double yarn fabric is comfortable and skin-friendly, pre-shrunk in batches. It features a flocked print with a character pattern and shadows. Using an environmentally friendly sizing base, the fabric is then electrostatically flocked to create microfibers that create a subtle, cat-tongue-like texture when brushed over. Over 20,000 hairs per square centimeter create the embossed pattern, making it three times more abrasion-resistant than traditional silk-screen printing. The flocked figure and cuff logo feature imported embroidery, creating a dense, rich, and textured look. All trimmings are custom-made from original molds.
