This authentic Balenciaga SS washed two-piece denim hooded jacket is a loose-fit jacket for unisex women.
Original, custom-woven and dyed denim is paired with a sweatshirt and terry fabric, featuring a washed, distressed, raw edge and faux two-piece design. The jacket features a signature wash-sprayed monkey pattern and decorative accents such as whiskers. The seams are smooth and rounded using a buried clamp machine, and the edges are hand-worn. The engraved aluminum buckle, custom-made to a YB mold, is electroplated with a bronze finish. The logo embroidery on the hood brim utilizes a three-dimensional, 10,000-needle embroidery technique, creating a sharp, linear, and three-dimensional effect.
Multiple washes: A combination of sandwashing and monkey patterning techniques is used to restore faded, aged colors through the use of chemicals and color styling. Other washes include a ripple wash and a tucked-in wash to create creases.
