These detailed shorts from American street brand JustDon are designed for comfort and versatility during the summer, making them a must-have for summer commuting. The JustDon’s design closely resembles the more common Mitchell & Ness shorts. Designer DonC reimagined the basic Mitchell & Ness shorts to create luxury shorts. JustDon adheres to luxury standards, modifying the design with high-cost hardware (the zipper is from the same Italian brand Lampo as used for Balenciaga) and embroidery, resulting in a new pair of shorts with a high weight and rich, textured details.
My pair is a pair of black Bulls OG shorts from a few years ago. The same style is also available in red (the shorts themselves are primarily red and white). Personally, I feel the black and red are more versatile than the red and white. As the brand has gained increasing attention, JustDon has primarily transitioned to domestic production, increased its stock, and now sells them on major platforms. These include the yellow-purple Lakers, blue Magic, and black Heat colors. Meanwhile, the original American-made models have become increasingly rare and their prices have skyrocketed. I personally recommend the domestically produced Lakers and black Heat colors, as well as the long-ago American-made black-red Bulls and Sonics colors (the Sonics are incredibly hard to find compared to the black-red Bulls).

The only downside is that these pants are a bit heavy, perhaps due to the extensive embroidery and hardware. They’re a bit heavier for playing basketball or running, unlike more standard Mitchell & Ness styles. However, for everyday commuting or summer wear, they’re a perfect match!
