Made of Goretex fabric, the LT D and Lightweight P are virtually indistinguishable. The new model uses CKnit lining, giving it a softer, silkier feel than the LT, and is also lighter. The design and fit are virtually identical, with the biggest difference being the chest logo. The Lightweight model now features a single bird. The English logo has been moved to the brim, making it instantly recognizable from the side as an Arc’teryx jacket. The new Lightweight model features a Recco reflector on the hood. While I wouldn’t use it, it clearly demonstrates its suitability for backcountry skiing. The zippers have also been slightly redesigned, becoming longer and allowing for more airflow under the arms.
